# The TCG OS > One platform for every trading card game. The full set library and card pricing are open to > everyone with no login. ## What it is The TCG OS (https://www.thetcgos.com) serves two audiences: - **Collectors** — catalogue what you own, dive into per-game lore (Pokédex entries, oracle text, rulings), track set completion, watch live portfolio value, cost basis and top movers, grade cards with AI from a photo (free during open beta), and browse the live stock of vetted, approved vendors. Every seller is reviewed before they can list, so you always know who you are dealing with. There is NO checkout on the platform: a collector contacts the shop and the sale happens directly between buyer and seller. Free. Card prices display in GBP or USD via a per-user toggle (genuine US-market prices where available). - **Vendors** — the differentiator is one stock record with EXCLUSIVE channel allocation across three channels: shop (which covers both the counter and the public shop window), card shows, and eBay. A unit sits on exactly one channel at a time, so moving it reassigns it rather than copying it — which is what makes overselling impossible. It is not simultaneous multi-channel synchronisation, and it is a stricter guarantee than that would be. ## AI Card Grading Free, instant AI grade prediction from a photo of any trading card — Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh! and the rest. Snap (or upload) the front and back and the model returns: - A predicted grade on each company's scale — **PSA, BGS, CGC and ACE**. - The four sub-grades graders use — **Centering, Corners, Edges and Surface** — with centering measured from the card's borders (e.g. 58/42), not eyeballed, and a cropped snapshot of every defect it flags. - The **TCGplayer condition** (Near Mint, Lightly Played, etc.), which is separate from the numeric grade. - A **worth-slabbing** answer: pick the matching catalogue card and it compares the raw value to real graded sold prices, so you can see the potential uplift before paying submission fees. AI card grading is free while it is in open beta. - Vendors: a single base tier — £25/month (UK) or $29/month (US). These are deliberate, natively-set prices, not FX conversions. Monthly only; there is no annual plan. - Every new vendor gets **3 months free with no credit card required**; payment details are only requested if they continue after the trial. - No commission or listing fee on sales, on any channel. - Optional add-on: Intel (market analysis for shops), £10/month. - New shops are reviewed by hand, normally within one business day. ## Price data Methodology, sources and limits: https://www.thetcgos.com/price-data Prices are market estimates aggregated from third-party providers (Cardmarket and TCGplayer via TCGGO; JustTCG for per-variant, Japanese and non-Pokémon pricing), refreshed every 2 hours for English Pokémon and every 2–4 hours to 2 days elsewhere depending on the game. The headline GBP figure is the Cardmarket lowest Near Mint price converted at a fixed (not live) rate, falling back to genuine TCGplayer USD. Cards with no confident source match carry no price rather than an estimate. ## Feature status (honest) Live today: a seven-game catalogue (Pokémon incl. Japanese sets, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Digimon, Star Wars: Unlimited) with set library + pricing (GBP and USD), collection tracking, valuation, AI card grading (free during open beta), photo scan-to-collection (a vision model reads the card and matches it to the catalogue), vendor inventory with exclusive channel allocation (shop, card shows, eBay — one unit on one channel at a time), a shop window that puts vendor inventory in front of collectors, eBay listing sync with order settlement, show stock management, and deals & trade-ins. NOT built yet, despite having appeared in earlier copy here: in-app checkout and payments (the marketplace is enquiry-based — collectors contact the shop), and offline selling at card shows (the server-side snapshot/sync exists, the mobile app that would use it does not, so selling at a show needs a connection).
