Adding cards to your collection

The three ways to get cards in, and what each card records.

Everything starts with adding the cards you own. There are three ways in: search the catalogue and add a card by hand, scan a card with your camera, or import a collection in bulk. However a card arrives, it is stored against your collection with the details below so the app can value and track it.

What each card records

  • Condition — Near Mint (NM), Lightly Played (LP), Moderately Played (MP), Heavily Played (HP), or Damaged.
  • Finish — Normal, Holo, Reverse Holo, or Special.
  • Quantity — how many copies you own.
  • Purchase price — optional, what you paid (used for your own cost reference).

Graded cards record a bit more: the grading company (PSA, CGC, BGS, or ACE) and the grade, so a slabbed copy is valued and tracked separately from a raw one.
