Deals: buying, selling, and trading
One transaction shape for money moving in and out.
Buys, sales, and trades are all recorded as one thing — a Deal. A Deal has cards coming in, cards going out, or both, balanced by cash. A pure buy is cards-in only; a pure sale is cards-out only; a trade is the general case.
- Cards received into a Deal enter Intake (unallocated), valued at the agreed buy price.
- Cards given from a Deal come out of your real stock (you cannot sell what you do not hold).
- Each Deal records its cash direction so your margin and cash flow stay honest.
