How to run your shop
From opening your shop to selling across the counter, eBay and card shows — on one stock count.
- 1
Set up your shop
Your shop is your selling identity, kept completely separate from any collection you track personally. In Settings, set the basics that drive pricing across the app: your default buylist percentage (what you pay as a fraction of market when buying in), and your serialize value floor (cards at or above this value get individually tracked with a QR — more on that below).
- 2
Print some QR labels
Premium single cards are tracked individually — each one gets a QR sticker on its toploader so you can scan it to sell. Print a sheet of blank QR labels now so you have them ready when you allocate stock. They print onto a 30mm square / 48-per-sheet sticker sheet.
- 3
Bring stock in
Everything you acquire — bought, traded, or from a supplier — enters Intake first. Intake stock is "unallocated": it is not graded, priced, or on sale yet. This is deliberate: nothing becomes sellable by accident. Add cards by catalogue search, bulk paste, or by recording a buy/trade as a Deal.
- Search the catalogue and add a card with its quantity and what it cost you.
- Or paste a list of cards to add in bulk.
- Buys and trades recorded as Deals also land in Intake.
- 4
Allocate it to make it sellable
Allocation is the moment stock becomes sellable. From Intake, hit Allocate on a card: grade its condition, then choose ONE channel — Shop, a Show, or eBay. A card lives on exactly one channel at a time.
- Premium singles (Double Rare and up, or above your value floor) going to a physical channel (Shop or a Show) MUST be QR-tagged — scan a printed label and it binds to that exact card.
- Bulk cards (commons / uncommons) allocate without a QR.
- eBay-bound cards need no QR — they ship out — and hand off to the eBay listing flow.
- 5
Sell across your channels
Where a card sells depends on the channel you allocated it to. The shop window lists it in the in-app marketplace; eBay publishes a real listing on your own eBay account; a Show holds it for in-person POS selling on the show floor.
- Shop: collectors browse and contact you to buy.
- eBay: connect your account once, then draft → publish → mark sold.
- Shows: create the event, allocate stock to it, then scan-and-sell from the same web app (you need a connection at the table).
- 6
Record the money and review
Every sale, purchase, and trade is recorded as a Deal, so your margin and cash flow stay honest. The Transactions ledger and dashboard show how you are doing, and the weekly Intent Report flags which stock to hold, trim, or sell.
